Longwood Gardens is located just outside of Philadelphia. Formerly privately-owned by the DuPonts, it is now open to the public and is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in the world. I'm not an expert gardener but I find the place so relaxing and refreshing, so much so that when I'm in the area, I go out of my way to spend some time there and just enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
