Me and Haley with Point of Grace...
Dear friends!!
I just wanted to tell you all about the concert last night!! Let me tell ya, it was way AWESOME!! *LOL* Well, let's see, when I got to the fair, I had no idea where to go for the passes. I went up to the Grandstand, ticket place and they directed me to the administrative office. That's where I got my passes....
I was kind of bummed since they said we were to meet PoG at 7:30. That meant only 1/2 an hour to see them. So at 7:26 we *my sister, Haley* went to the gates where we were supposed to meet them or the security.
At about 7:45 they took us back to Point of Grace's Bus! They had an area set aside for about 10 of us back there. The first person I noticed was Terry! She was talking with some people, but I wanted to get to Shelley so we headed over there. Terry got finished and we started talking a little. Before too long, Shelley came over and I told her I was "Bunny from the chat" She immediately gave me a big hug!!
Terry, was like, "You're the girl from the Internet!!" *grin*
Oh, when I got out my picture/matte for them to sign, Terry asked where the pix were taken and I told her creation! She said, "Yeah, I met a chatter there!! She's the one that fell..." I told her "Yup! That was Alexa"
Then Heather came up to us and I had her sign my matte too. I gave her all the emails, cards, and pix. She was sooo thankful! Oh, when I gave them the bracelets, Heather and Terry immediately wanted them on. So Haley put on Heathers and I did Terry's! Don't worry, in Shelley's card, Jenny I asked them to call you!! Heather was reading all the emails, but I'm sure she shared them with everyone!! :)
There were other people back there, a larger group and then Miss Iowa!! That was kind of neat!! They were getting pix taken, so Shelley told us to wait cuz she wanted pictures with us!! :)
I remember Terry asking us where we lived and if me and Haley went to High school together. I told her Haley was only going to be in 7th and she was like, "You're just a baby then!!" *giggles*
Finally I got to give Denise her gift and bracelet!! She was soooooo sweet!! She opened the gift, and I found out she collects beanie babies and she didn't have the one I gave her yet!! Yeahhhh!!! She loved the precious moments thing and was very thankful!! She gave me a big hug!!
I think I got about 12 pix back there. Oh, before we left, I wanted to get a picture of Heather so she even skipped her potty break for us!! She was like, "Now you have to send me that picture, I'm sure it's going to be good!!"
Lets see.... Oh, Shelley told me, "She'd see me back at the chat, and that when they *grew up* they'd all have to get computers and get on..." So I'm figuring that at least Shelley will be back on sometime.
Omigoodness, during the concert they had these big screens so people who were far away could see their faces and stuff. Anyways, I saw Heather and Terry's bracelets on them!! It was way cool!!!
Anyways that was my night. BTW: Alexa, I gave them that email that you wrote me telling me to tell them stuff, so they'll read that and I forgot to say Hi to terry from you Leah, but I gave them your email too!
Oh!! 4Him was awesome too!! It started sprinkling, and my mom wanted to get out of there, but I knew PoG would be coming back so I had to stay! I saw them get out of their bus and walk back to the stage and I started screaming! It was a blast!!
